Is auto refresh really free?
Yes. Auto refresh is free with no limits and no account. Only page monitors are paid.
Does the tab need to stay open for auto refresh?
Yes. Auto refresh runs in your browser, so it works while the tab is open. If you want a page watched with your browser closed, use a page monitor.
What does hard refresh do?
It reloads the page without using your browser's cache, so you always get the latest version from the website.
How is a page monitor different from auto refresh?
Auto refresh reloads the page so you can watch it yourself. A page monitor does the watching: our servers check the page on your schedule, and the AI tells you when the thing you care about happens.
How does the AI know what to watch?
When you describe what you want, the AI looks at the page you have open, finds the right part of it and confirms the current value with you. On every check, our servers open the page and the AI looks at it again, so it isn't thrown off by small layout changes.
Do I need to keep my browser open for a monitor?
Not for page monitors. They run on our servers, so they keep checking when your browser is closed or your computer is off.
How often can a monitor check?
Anywhere from every 5 minutes to once a day. The default is every 30 minutes. A monitor runs for 1 to 30 days, and the extension reminds you before it ends.
How will I be alerted?
Always by email. You can also add WhatsApp, which costs a little extra per alert depending on your country.
Do I need an account?
Not for auto refresh, and not to chat with the AI. When you create your first monitor, sign in with Google or your email address.
What does a monitor cost?
It depends on how often it checks, how long it runs and how you're alerted. A monitor checking every 30 minutes for a week with email alerts costs about 126 credits ($1.26). The extension always shows the price before you start.
Which websites can I monitor?
Most public webpages. Pages that need you to be logged in can't be monitored, and some sites block automated visits. If we can't reach a page, we'll let you know.
Which browsers does it work in?
Chrome, plus browsers that install from the Chrome Web Store, like Edge and Brave.
What happens to my data?
We store what's needed to run your monitors and alerts, and we never sell it or use it for ads. The Privacy Policy has the details.
